I know the cause of THAT incident, I had accidentally held the tray back while pushing the eject button, which locked the tray in and it got jammed in the process. to play a REAL game, load up Bioshock on 360 and SEE what power can be wielded when developers use UE3 technology, which to me heralds the coming of the Age of Fairness, where games can be interdeveloped between BOTH 360 and ps3
even I stopped reading reviews because sometimes they can make you stray away from what otherwise might have been "your" idea of perfect. Some games that I loved had gotten poor reviews (parasite eve was such a good game "to me") and I've lived on quite happy just going against the norm. Isn't that what diversity is all about? Different interests for different people. Different tastes and prejudices.

can both do 1080p... But the 360 can take 720p clean it and scale it to 1080p. ware as the ps3 (if it says 720p it will stay 720p but if the game says 1080p than you can play at 1080p,it also can lower it to 720p or any thing your tv can do.
the ps3 has 24 pixel shaders 256 mbs of xdr ram and 256 ddr3
360 has 48 total (there not pixel shaders and there not vertex there both)
the 360 also has 512 mbs of ddr3 (in which case the 360 can use up to 480 mbs for AI.
most people say that the ps3 wins in most places and 360 wins in others. (this is just one of among others the 360 can do ).
PS3 has the following:
60GB HDD(Sony cut you 20GB suckers right off, haha thats what you get)
Blu-Ray (50Gb of SPACE, not content, which means NOBODY USES IT)
RSX (...a joke, right...STANDARD SHADER ARRAY, nuff said, they don't
even advertise it on their kiosks, that's how ashamed they are!)
HDMI (no cables)
Cell BE (admittedly superior to the 360's CPU, but will have to work
in conjunction with RSX's woefully underpowered setup)

and plus, they don't say made in China anymore! Yip-pie!
They make consoles alot better nowadays then before. And they make em living room friendly too. They got style and sophistication, and usually Japanese in origin, since we all know how superior they are to Americans:)
you mean just to name the only. Because there realy isn't much else. Not until Sony can get off their asses and concentrate on PS3 as a GAMING console, not a Blu-Ray player. All of my friends say the same thing "I didn't buy my ps2 to play dvds, I bought it for the games". At least back then Sony didn't over do it like they're doing now. Go to any kiosk and they all tell you about Blu-Ray, but they don't mention a lick about the RSX, mostly because RSX is a sloppy chip designed off ...
i own a 360 and have had it since 05-06. The only problem I have ever had was one incident of a ROL error. And that problem was fixed the next morning, after a good night's rest and some reconfigurating of my desk area. However, being the ever warranty ready person I am, I was already on the phone with MS xbox rep's and they put me down for a new PSU, no big deal. Anyway, I think that people have missjudged the 360's durability, and for those of you don't already know this ROL was supposed to...
